AAA AUGER, the Austin Plumber, Helps Austin Conserve Water
AAA AUGER, the Austin plumber, participates in many different programs to help Austin conserve water and implement green living. Recently, AAA AUGER participated in a city program designed to encourage water conservation this year. A new water-efficient toilet was offered in exchange for a less-efficient one for approved applicants.
A professional AAA AUGER Austin plumber was sent out free of charge (as with all service calls), to pick up the less-efficient toilet. AAA AUGER then hauled the toilet to the FM 812 Resource Recovery Center for processing. The bulk hauling AAA AUGER accomplished helped efficiently and safely transport the recyclables. It also helped the environment by reducing pollution and accidents that could have otherwise happened with those unskilled in such matters.

Another way AAA AUGER is helping Austin save water is by an ingenious water harvesting technique being used on the roof of AAA AUGER. Water is collected and then used to clean vehicles and also used in a Hydrojetter (a process in which your sewer pipes are scoured by streams of high-pressure water). Rainwater harvesting benefits the state by reducing demand on the water supply as well as reducing run-off, erosion, and contamination of surface water.

“Utilizing rainwater to clean out sewer lines and clean our vans makes perfect sense,” stated Ray Hall, AAA AUGER Austin Plumber Business Manager. “We are a local Austin business that cares about Texas and our environment.”
