I would like to thank Tom for ending my plumbing nightmare. AAA Auguer was highly recommended to me by a friend. I had called 3 other plumbing companies and none of them were as friendly as Tom, from AAA Auger. I called AAA at 8am on Friday morning and Tom was at my house by 9am. The other plumbing companies I called did not keep their scheduled appointment and did not offer the free estimate. Many of them wanted to charge me $350+ just to find the leak in my home.
Tom came to our home and provide me with an estimate. He spoke to my husband on the phone and explained what was needed to fix the problem. Our house had a broken pipe under the foundation. Tom closed the off the pipe and ran the new connection via our attic. Tom was knowledge, friendly, on time, and very efficient. We are very happy with his work and will defiantly call AAA the next time we have a plumbing issue. The best part is that the actual cost came in BELOW the original estimate and the estimated time to complete the work was also less than he had originally estimated. How often does that happen? We just had another plumbing problem at our home, called AAA Auger, and asked for Clayton again. As before, he was courteous, helpful, informative, highly professional, and went the extra mile. Not only did he fix the problem with our kitchen sink hose (he actually went out and bought a new hose for us), but also helped with a problem related to a bathroom faucet (no charge) and explained how to avoid the problem in future. More than that, he gave us a useful tip for our air conditioning system that will save us some future grief.
In short, he rendered superior service as before, and was a superb representative of your company. And I believe this young man has only been with your company some 8 months? There’s now a consistently high level of service that we are beginning to understand is probably the standard at your company.
By contrast, my colleague who is a professor at UT recently made the mistake of calling Fox when he had a problem with his toilet cistern filler cup. When Fox sent a plumber, the plumber broke something during repair and replacement; new things were then needed, and to make a long story short, a $100+ repair ended up costing over $500. More than that, after the plumber was finished, the toilet leaked (the toilet did not leak before the plumber worked on it). The level of frustration the homeowner felt, as I understand it, was high. I have since recommended AAA Auger to my colleague in place of Fox, and suggested he ask for Clayton. He will never use Fox ever again.

This is the email I wrote about CLAYTON, when he came to our house in September 2011:
One of AAA Auger’s plumbers, Clayton (#67), just came out to our home today to change some leaky yard faucets.
He was extremely courteous and helpful, and, after I showed him all our yard faucets and decided that we should only change 3 of them, to be economical, he ended up changing 2 extra ones, at no cost to us. Our total bill came up to $237.50, and he even gave us a coupon, in the form of a fridge magnet.
We’ve lived in Austin for 17 years, and have never experienced anything like this. This level of service is extraordinary, and speaks very highly of the company you run. This young man (and he’s a very young man) took initiative, was extra helpful, offered to not to mess up our floor as he walked in, and took time to be attentive to our needs. His kindness and professionalism are remarkable, and reflect well of him, and of your company. Yours must be a company in which having initiative, courtesy, and excellent human relations are valued as much as professionalism and expertise. Needless to say, we are very happy, and also happy to see that someone so young can serve his company so well.
The people who answer the phone also have exquisite manners—a rare thing these days, especially in the service industry (ironically).
This is not our first experience with AAA Auger (when I called, our address was already in your computer—my husband must have asked for a service call at some point). Needless to say, AAA Auger will be our plumbing company of choice from here on, and we will ask for Clayton.

I would recommend AAA Auger to anyone. I live in an older house and the kids were clogging up the toilet all the time and I was just tired of fooling with it so I called AAA Auger.
